Odds & Sods

Is Buck Coats our saviour?
No.

Is "Neal W. from Toronto" insane for even suggesting that Stewart could play right field?

I have to believe that, yes, Neal W. from Toronto is insane. Neal W., if you're reading this, I'm sorry, but you're batshit crazy. Seek help, and refrain from procreating.

Is Gibbons on a short leash?
Probably, but as The Southpaw neatly details, the Jays figure to come out of the gate strong, with all due respect to The Tao.

Does CityTV suck?
Most definitely. Pray Jesus they never broadcast another baseball game. Stick to late night softcore, spawn of Moses.

Is baseball on the radio (or computer) in early March good for the soul?
I'm thinkin' it is. Holy damn, what a long winter.

Is this the laziest form of blog post known to humankind?
Pretty much, yuh. It's also a roundabout way of saying that new material on The Bottom of the Order might be scant and pithy for a few weeks. Which is fine, what with all those other fine Jays blogs out there to pick up the slack.

They should put Overbay in right field and Thomas at short stop with MacDonald as DH.
Just joking, but I shouldn't procreate anyway. Just in case.

Hey, thanks for the ref! but do you realize you linked a wholly different "Southpaw" in the last sentence? some dead blog that hasn't been updated in four years in fact.
